Emmitt Park – A Gift for Our City

Emmitt Park is our heartfelt gift to the city—a place for fun, fellowship, and community connection. Named after our founding pastor, Robert Emmitt, this vibrant space has hosted everything from high-energy ministry events and worship nights to peaceful Bible studies and playful family gatherings.

Whether you're meeting up for a playdate, shooting hoops, or enjoying a quiet picnic, there's something for everyone at Emmitt Park. The park features a splash pad, playground, picnic areas, basketball pavilion, sand volleyball courts, and three pickleball courts—all open to the public, no reservations required.


Park hours (weather permitting): 

  • Sunday 4pm–dusk 
  • Monday–Tuesday 7am–dusk 
  • Wednesday 7am–4pm 
  • Thursday–Friday 7am–dusk 
  • Saturday 7am–4pm  

Please note: The park is closed for Wednesday night service and Saturday/Sunday services.

Children under 12 must be supervised—All equipment and activities are used at your own risk.

Playground is for ages 12 and under; no furniture, chairs, or canopies allowed inside the playscape


Courts and pavilion operate on a first-come, first-serve basis (1-hour limit per group)

Pickleball courts are for pickleball only

Do not move any tables, chairs, or furniture

Please dispose of all trash in the bins provided


Service animals only (leashed); no animals inside the playscape

No bikes, skateboards, scooters, chalk, glass, grilling, alcohol, smoking/vaping, or amplified music

Park may not be used for business, private events, or team practices

CBC reserves the right to limit use of the park for church events
