BIBLICAL GUIDANCE MINISTRY

Biblical guidance is for individuals 18 and older who call CBC their home church. This ministry is not professional counseling but rather is short-term biblical guidance provided by trained volunteers who walk alongside you to find God’s answers to life’s difficulties. The role of the Biblical Guidance Minister is to listen, pray with you, and provide resources that could help you through whatever challenges life might bring.

Are Biblical Guidance providers professionals?

Our Biblical Guidance Providers are trained non-licensed volunteers who walk alongside you to find God's answers to life's difficulties.

Can I see a Biblical Guidance Provider if I am already seeing a Professional Counselor?

Yes. We focus on biblical guidance, pray with you, and provide resources that could help you through whatever challenges life might bring.

Am I going to be able to schedule my appointment for this week?

No; there is a process. Once our office is notified, someone will reach out to you as soon as possible to inform you of the next step in your process.

Do I have to be a member of the church or a regular attendee in order to come for Biblical Guidance?

No. However, we may have a waiting list, and our priority is our church members and attendees.

How many sessions am I going to have?

A maximum of 5 sessions.

If I am done with my sessions can I come back to Biblical Guidance?

Yes, but the wait time varies based on the number of times you utilize Biblical Guidance.

Do you have Marriage or Couples Counseling?

Currently, we only offer one-on-one biblical guidance for adults 18 and older. Please check here frequently for any changes.
